Note to Contributors
Manuscripts must be sent to the editor, by e-mail only: principi@cfh.ufsc.br.
Only unpublished manuscripts will be considered for
publication, which in addition are not simultaneously submitted to
other journals.
Manuscripts may be in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish. They
should normally not exceed 13.000 words in length. Footnotes should be
numbered consecutively
in the main body of the text and appear at the end of it, after
bibliographical
references. Authors are asked to send their manuscripts electronically
in
one of the following formats: OpenOffice ODT, LaTeX, or Word RTF or DOC
files.
Contributors are asked to make bibliographical references according to
the format adopted by the journal, which can be checked on recently
published issues, such as those ones available on line.
Without exception all articles will be examined by two referees, who
may be either members of the advisory editorial board or specialists on
the topic. Principia reveals neither the author's name to the
referees, nor the referees' names to the author, no matter whether the
manuscript is accepted or not.
In case the manuscript is accepted for publication, extensive deletions
or amendments will not be allowed, but minor corrections are
acceptable.
In this case, authors will be asked to send a new version of the paper
by
e-mail.
Manuscripts must include an abstract in English, not exceeding 150
words in length, and 3 to 6 keywords. Authors are also asked to send a
short Vita in a separate file, including their academic
position and professional address.
The copyright of published manuscripts will be the property of
Principia, so that they may not be reprinted without permission of Principia.
Authors of accepted manuscripts will receive free of charge two copies
of the issue containing their papers if the concerned number of the
journal
is also published in paper.
